Great location. The restaurant was good, both in respect of service and food. Overall the hotel made you feel as though you were stepping back in time, but everything made you feel comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, but coffee/ tea facilities would have been welcome in addition to bed side lights being better. Definitely was made to feel welcome and would stay again. The eccentricity of the hotel worked for us.

The hotel was charming, the staff were excellent, our evening meal was delicious and the staff in the restaurant excellent too. The location of the hotel perfect for us.
Unfortunately our room did not have shutters and was so hot we were unable to sleep. We were unable to open the windows and have the curtains closed. Breakfast buffet was chaotic with nowhere to put your tray whilst getting breakfast, hot drinks and boiling water making it dangerous. Such a shame that these things spoilt what was otherwise a lovely experience.
We were welcomed warmly and our bicycle was well accommodated. The staff provided a city map and helpful directions to the laundromat. It was always a pleasure to greet and chat with them. Our room had a large window and a good view to the the old building across the street and to the sky. We were entirely comfortable for ur entire trip. The magnificent view from the breakfast room and restaurant are by themselves reason enough to stay here.
We had a great 3 days stay at the Hotel, rooms very clean and comfortable, we had a room for 5 persons and there were 3 of us, bathroom very good.
View over the harbour brilliant, situation of the Hotel great for walking into the Town. Secure car parking brilliant. Hotel furnishings "quirky" but very interesting. Unfortunately the Restaurant was not open at the time of our visit but the menu looked good. Staff impeccable so helpful and English speaking, but they did understand my pigeon French. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for 3 fun days.
Had to go up and down stairs. With a bad back not great. No tea and coffee in room. No glasses only polystyrene cups. Would not recommend or stay again
A beautiful Hotel with individually designed rooms in a wounderful location. Super friendly staff that speaks English really well.
